Bollywood’s most notable ex-couple, Imran Khan and Avantika Malik, are back in the tabloids, but this time, their family dynamic- co-parenting their daughter, Imara, is the topic of focus.
recently, Avantika Malik publicly stated that she and ex-husband Imran Khan do not share that “friendly” of a relationship post-divorce, but they can put their differences aside for the best interests of their daughter, Imara.
“Friends is a very strong term… We’re not there yet,” said Malik when asked about how things are between the two, which encompasses the difficulty of transforming into a co-parent after being romantically involved. Both, still prioritizing the wellbeing of their daughter.
Imran has also mentioned that he is a very hands-on parent. He also takes Imara into his care from Thursday to Sunday and manages everything, including drop-offs at school and bedtime stories and does not employ a nanny.
Even though their once-sacred romantic bond has since turned into a co-parenting relationship, moving from innocent children in love to figuring out how to go about life separate from the love, milestone, and memories they shared, is not only commendable, but admirable. At this point in time, it is reaffirming that they are both in it for the well-being of their daughter, and that is commendable.
