After facing turbulence with “Hera Pheri 3,” Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film “Welcome To The Jungle” has landed in trouble. According to the recent reports, the big-budget multitasker has been halted due to payment-related issues, causing major delays in the film’s shoot schedule.
In a report, several actors from the film have not received their payments despite having completed significant portions of the shoots. These economic delays have reportedly caused dissatisfaction among the cast. Due to this some actors have exited the film while others are continuing solely out of goodwill for the producers and their relationship with the “Welcome” franchise.
This film, which is the third installment in the “Welcome” series, actors and stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi, Parsh Rawal, and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others. Despite being announced with much fanfare and beginning production in August 2023, this film has been marred by scheduling problems. This factor has reported cancellations of two to three shoot schedules in the past six months.
Sources also mentioned that 60 to 70 percent of the film was shot, but the production has been stagnant. A major shooting schedule planned for June 2025 has also been cancelled. This team reportedly hoped to resume work earlier, but internal disputes and financial mismanagement have held the process back.
Other sources quoted that these claims are not due to financial constraints, but rather due to security concerns, A shoot was planned in Pahalgam, Kashmir. This development came shortly after the controversies surrounding Hera Pheri 3, where actor Paresh Rawal walked out of the movie due to creative differences. His production company also reported to have taken legal action worth ₹25 crore regarding unprofessional conduct connected to this project.
