Remember folks? The Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case? The actor oh so jolly and intelligent dropped dead on June 14 202. Amid the chaos of lockdown and Covid-19 amongst other sad news came the shocking suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The actor who played a lively role in the movie Chichhore inspiring the audience of India to live life freely and never give up had himself committed suicide. The news did not sit well with the audience and not everyone believed it to be a suicide. In this case, investigations took place and a name emerged of his ex-girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty.
The case soon reached CBIand investigation took on. Cut to five years later in 20205, when some fans still haven’t understood the case and some moved on. A new development has emerged.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a closure report in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, exonerating actor Rhea Chakraborty and her family members including her brother Showik Chakraborty. After years of investigation and media pressure, the family is not given a clean chit.
The CBI concluded that the case was a “simple case of suicide” and found no evidence implicating Rhea, her parents, Showik, Rajput’s sister Priyanka, or a doctor mentioned in a counter-FIR filed by the actor.
After the announcement of CBI, the ex-GF’s brother Showik posted on Instagram with Rhea in the mountains with the caption “Satyamev Jayate” He expressed gratitude following the po.
The Chakraborty family was also spotted in Dadar Siddhivinayak Mandir seeking blessings post the murder case investigations. This visit was seen as a gesture of gratitude for the support received during the challenging times. Keep Reading GupSups.com for more gossipy news.
